    Very good

It's a nice little hotel for young people. We chose it only for the Chelsea location. At $400+, the price exceeded the value. With the bed on the floor, it makes getting up a little difficult for older people. The step-down from the bed is a little dangerous in the night--the hotel will certainly have people injured from this, so I hope you have good liability insurance! Sink is too small. Check-in was slow, but everyone was very nice. I would stay in the hotel again, but only if the room price were in the $250-300 range

    Superb

Attractively designed hotel in good Chelsea location just by the High Line

Platform bed was interesting in concept but still felt like you were sleeping on a futon on the floor.

Seemed like a cold place in the interior of the room - no natural light at all which made the place pretty creepy.

    The roof top

Staff in the restaurant not very professional in general

    Very good

The staff were helpful and friendly. The design of the hotel was spectacular.

The "court" view was not very good. The view out the window was of a boarded up window on the next building.

beautiful decor, attention to detail, close to the High Line, bar on the roof

was hoping to use the pool in September but it has no heat and seems a little awkward anyway to swim in a bar area.

    Very good

The staff were very professional whilst also being cool. It felt as though we were being taken care of by friends. The rooms felt spacious for their size. Good amenities.

Our room was next to the roomservice staff's station who seemed to be using their loud walkie talkies quite a lot. Not too disturbing.

    Superb

The rooms were quirky and well designed I loved the overall interior of the hotel- the smell, the furniture, the lights. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly the energy and the vibe of the hotel was wonderful. the upstairs bar/ pool area is absolutely stunning as well. The bikes!- (we only found this out on the final day of our stay but what a great idea)

the only thing i could suggest is having a designated place or furniture peice to place luggage on in the room. we found that there wasnt anywhere to put our large suitcases but we made do and still loved the rooms!

Not much. Maybe discovering a less known part of nyc, Chelsea (though the hotel is located to the North, not really the core area). Nice view from the room terrace but this is very small and You would rather go there early (like, 6 am with the cleaning staff) if you want to enjoy the view.

Very little. A very pretentious place, not worth the price. As said by many, the rooms are very, very small. The "zen" decoration confines to scarcity. You keep looking desperately for a place to lay your things, be it a suitcase or a toothbrush and the place soon becomes a mess. Actually it seems that the architect put all his efforts to make your life difficult, especially in the bathroom. A 2 inches wide shelf (very design, polished steel, yes...) is all what you get to leave yout toilet bag. The towels'shelf is 6 feet high and you need to climb on the toilets to get them. Only one hook, occupied by the bath robe (only one, very "fashion", in jean's, I let you imagine how absorbent it is to water). The fancy shower delivers a feeble rain with which I was unable to wash and rinse my long hair. The glass casing of the bathroom is absolutely transaprent when lit from inside and you can watch your partner from your bed if he or she decides to have a pee during the night. Ecc., Ecc. The so called "swimming pool" on the roof is a mere bath tub, do not trust the photos. As for the staff, it is also the "zen" sort: smile is not an option. I had to ask 3 times to get an extra duvet-cover for the bed (the one available, also "zen", was narrower than the bed and did not cover 2 persons, we were awfully cold the first night). Breakfasr maddly expensive and scarce, too. Last but not least, on check out they tried to charge twice the rate agreed on Booked.net. I wonder what category of guests they are aiming at, must be a very narrow age range of Yupies (from the age point of view, we former Young... Hated it, and our children, hopefuly future Young... Just the same). For the avoidance of doubt, I am not a difficult grumpy sort, we booked other hotels in similar categories during the same holiday, for which I will be pleased to make very positive comments.

    Superb

Great vibe to the entire hotel. Modern rooms with great beds, mini bar selection, and Ipads equipped with music. The rooftop has a great menu, view, and pool with lots of sun. Hotel staff are friendly and attentive. The location is up and coming, but is in relative walking distance to anything.

People kept coming into the room.

    Fabulous

Staff were sincerely friendly and helpful. Giovanni was excellent.

Space was a problem. Black beanbag not required in such a small space and lack of shelf space in the bathroom to place personal amenities etc.
